AIMN Final Report: Advancing Mentorship Across Alberta

As an organization built to strengthen mentorship across Alberta, AIMN was created to support mentorship programs, working toward career and economic integration with a focus on new immigrants in rural and small urban communities. Through collaboration, shared learning, and practical tools, AIMN has helped organizations launch, enhance, and sustain mentorship programs tailored to their communities.

Our key impacts included:

  1. Reduced time to launch a mentorship program (4-6 months);
  2. Improved success in mentor/mentee recruitment and matching;
  3. Provided organizational mentorship to support community-tailored mentorship models;
  4. Increased availability of mentorship across Alberta with 110 additional mentorship matches; and
  5. Engaged 1,084 mentoring professionals, mentors, and mentees through online professional development.

As we conclude this current stage of our project, we are pleased to share the AIMN Final Public Report to mark this milestone and reflect on our achieved progress. The AIMN website and social media channels will continue to run and be a source of road-tested resources to launch and run mentorship programs.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the network. ERIEC's focus going forward is on advocacy for mentorship as a workforce integration strategy that works.
